Siberian bugloss

 

'Silver Heart' is a variety of Siberian bugloss with silvery, heart-shaped leaves and blue flowers.

An untried variety, but Siberian buglosses have generally thrived well in this country.

Similar to 'Jack Frost' but the foliage is more silvery and it is said to be more floriferous.

  • Growing instructions

    Siberian bugloss (Brunnera) are shade-tolerant plants that thrive in similar conditions to Hosta. They tolerate some shade, but also do well in partial shade. The soil must be well-drained, evenly moist and rich in organic matter, for example compost. Excellent garden plants that require little care.
